Emil is the most dedicated coach I have ever had. He cares not only for his client’s progress but also how they thrive on his program in general.

I have been on his program for 7 months now and improved my gymnastic skills beyond my imagination, going from being able to do 1 bar muscle up and 1 ring muscle up, to being able to do sets of 6 of both.

His program is very well thought out and planned focusing on the most important exercises and building a strong foundation.

Recently I’ve had to cut down my training to 3-4 sessions and Emil has been very good at making an efficient program, which prioritises the right exercises for me but is also varied and fun.

I have had a lot of personal training sessions with Emil and he is very pedagogical in explaining exercises, breaking them down to smaller parts, so i am able to understand every part of the movement. He is also very patient and comes up with different ways to teach the exercises until he fins one that i understand and works for me. He has an impeccable eye for the CrossFit movements and can easily detect the mistake that i am making and give me one cue that can fix the movement.

Autumn of 2018. The programming has ensured that there has been a progression in my strength, skills and abilities to compete in CrossFit.

I started on Emil’s program after a year of not seeing any improvements in pretty much all areas of my training, which had led to me losing not only the motivation, but also belief, that i could improve and also the desire to compete.

Since starting in the Autumn of 2018 I have seen huge improvements. I have improved in countless skills, especially in my gymnastics, and I have also seen gains in my strength. On top of this the motivation and joy of competing has also returned.

Before starting I also had problems with one of my shoulderblades, an issue that I haven’t felt anything off for 18 months now.

Emil’s programming and the amount of communication we have means that the program is always taking into account my physical and mental state so that no injuries occur, and I always have a good experience during my training.

I decided to contact Emil and invest in nutrition coaching. The goal was to reduce the wave of tiredness that I experienced in my day to day life, an issue that meant that I lost a lot of my time to naps at midday. On top of this I also wanted to optimise my nutrition with regard to my CrossFit training.

I wanted to find a coach that was proffesional, motivating, price friendly and realistic.

We started nice and easy by finding out how my nutrition at the time was. Emil had a wide variety of options that we could go down, based on the direction that I wanted to take with both my nutrition at the time, and goals to set myself.

We made changes to the macros that I was eating throughout our time together, which I was able to implement without having to make huge changes to how I was already eating. That is to say that I didn’t actually need to change any of the types of food I was eating, but instead I only had to change the amounts and combinations of those foods. Due to this it quickly became a rountine in my life rather than a nutrition plan, which was really great.

Emil also had a lot of options available if I needed to change any of the foods I was eating in order to more easily hit the carbohydrate, protein and fat macros that we set. This meant that I was never in doubt as to how I could hit my macros on any given day.

Problems like hunger, loss of appetite, etc. were always thoroughly inspected by Emil to find the causes behind them, so that we were prepared if these things showed up again.

There was always help to find concerning how I could tackle different situations and events in my life that might make my nutrition difficult, so that I could continue towards my goals. The feeling of security that this gave me was really important to me!

During our time together we found out that I was deficient in iron. Emil invested a lot of time to find the right supplement that he recommended me to use. I had often thought prior to working with Emil that I should be tested for iron deficiency, but it was only when Emil advised me to do it that I got myself tested.

During our time together I achieved a loss in weight, the measurements of different areas of my body decreased, I experienced more energy and better concentration, no midday naps, increases in my strength and a body that I am even happier with than I was before.

Emil is very motivating! I met an ambitious, positive and very motivating person, who had a big interest in my development. Even though I may have had a busy week, we were always able to discuss the prior week and make plans for the coming week during weekly calls. Due to this I was always able to look back on my week and see that, even though I may have felt it didn’t go that great, that it wasn’t bad at all.

Emil put a big emphasis on the fact that it should be realistic and that I still had a life with social arrangements, and all the positives and negatives that come with everyday life. Due to this it still hasn’t been a problem to continue after we stopped working together.

For me it has been a really good choice to invest in nutrition coaching and I’m glad that I chose Emil!

I came to Emil with a goal of improving my overall fitness and take my training to new heights.

When I came to Emil I wasn’t able to do even one butterfly pull up. Today 1 year later i can do 30+, as well as ring muscle ups & bar muscle ups. On top of this my technique surrounding my weightlifting and gymnastics has improved considerably.

You also have the option of investing in personal training sessions, which really help all the different skills much quicker.

I couldn’t even do one push up when I started with Emil but during out time he made sure to make a program that was super motivating (and which I could even take with me on holiday) and got me through the entrance exam without any problems.

I worked with Emil for a short period of time.

I only knew the most basic of CrossFit movements when i started with Emil. Emil and I agreed after our start up consultation that we would start by focusing on the technique surrounding barbell movements.

Within this area of CrossFit, I have now gone from knowing nothing to having a firm grasp of the basics and I have a clear goal of getting even better at weightlifting.

After our time together I am now at a point where I can correct my own mistakes. Our work together has been a huge help in terms of getting started in the right way, avoiding injury and also to ensure that I learn the technique correctly from the start as this could have been a big limiting factor further down the line.

Emils programmering er både sjov og giver resultater!

Jeg var på program hos Emil i omkring et år. I den tid gik jeg fra bare at synes træning var sjovt, men ikke noget jeg tog seriøst, til at være blevet både meget stærkere, bedre til en masse bevægelser og vide meget mere og træning.

Træningen var varieret, men havde fokus på de elementer, som jeg helst ville arbejde på. Derfor havde jeg altid lyst til at træne. Programmet sikrede et godt fundament, så jeg overordnet set blev både stærkere og bedre til workouts. Derudover kommer Emil med god feedback løbende. Det betød blandt andet, at jeg gik fra at kunne lave ingen ring muscle up’s, til at kunne lave flere sæt af flere gentagelser.

Alt i alt vil jeg uden tøven anbefale Emil som personlig træner til andre!

Jeg har fortrinsvis haft med Emil at gøre på hold træning hos Arca, hvor han har været min træner/underviser i mindst 200 timer ud af mine knap 1000 holdtræninger.

Udover det har vi haft nogle personlige forløb, som jeg har haft meget ud af, særligt da vi i 2020 har trænet på egen hånd/alene.

I was worried that I didn’t fit in to Emil’s clientele because I’m not a Crossfitter or have huge athletic ambitions – Instead I was really just looking for guidance on how to stay motivated in terms of working through the lockdown, as well as building confidence in my own skin.

I am SO glad that Emil took me on as a client with a totally open mind and curiosity to really understand my needs.

I worked with Emil for a year and a half and it was the best decision ever.

I was trying to improve myself in many aspects of training by programming for myself, but I was not seeing any result.

As soon as I started working with Emil progress arrived fast and consistent and I was avoiding unneccessary soreness and risk of injury that I was instead causing myself when I was training alone.

His programming is super tailored and can be adjusted every week, so I could change it depending on my specific schedule. And even when I had to reduce the volume of training, it was still super effective since it targeted exactly what I needed.

The communication with Emil is easy and fast. In that way, as mentioned, it is easy to adjust training, but also to learn exactly what one is doing wrong during training, thanks to constant feedback and video review.

Emil is also incredibly good at keeping you motivated, even in harder times (i.e. lockdowns). He definitely helped me a lot also in the mental aspect of training.
